Blue Peter visits Cassop Primary School...

At the end of September, Konnie, one of the Blue Peter presenters, and a film crew visited Cassop School to talk about the many ways our School is helping our environment.

Konnie first looked at the wind turbine and its interactive panel. She then interviewed six children from class 4 who talked about sustainable energy and green issues and how the wind turbine generates electricity.

Konnie proceeded to look at Cassop's recently installed roof-mounted solar panels and finally the new bio- mass boiler that heats the school from recylcled wood pellets.
